21st Century Community Learning Center Grant

After school programs find it increasingly important to establish or expand activities with opportunities for academic enrichment and to offer a broad array of additional services, programs and activities that promote positive youth development. This is the primary purpose of the 21st CCLC grant program and an effective implementation will tie students’ after school activities to the regular school day, will evaluate those activities’ impact on student achievement and encourage family and community involvement in learning.
